Anatoloa is a city and region in the Middle East, which means: Heart of the Mediterranean and the Middle East - a "mother's fullness".
It represents the generous sentiment demonstrated throughout the Middle East that unites people of very different origins. Under Ali's watchful eye, two generations of the Abaci family are dedicated to bring the traditional Middle Eastern "soul" food to you, using only fresh ingredients according to the market availability. For this reason, there may be times when certain items may be in limited supply or unavailable.
The Ocakbasi (Charcoal Grill) is the focal point of the restaurant and enables you to watch all the dishes being prepared and cooked to order. Some dishes take longer than others to cook, so why not change down a gear, relax over a drink and prepare to enjoy something special? We are fully licensed, so you can choose from our value wines and soft drinks as an apperatif and an accompaniment to your meal.
Dishes of the day and the lavas bread are cooked in the special stone floored oven, providing authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean peasant food in the heart of Hackney.
